Aaaah relaxation

Well the boys are sleeping and DH is out tonight...so the pc is all mine!!
Have decided to open up a small store on WAHMNAPS...got a mega quick response from Sarah, that was awesome.

Have ordered some labels from luckylabel.com....they have great customer service skills as well. Within a few hrs of placing my order received an email to approve what they had drawn up. Even if it's not flash it's all we can afford at the moment.
Once I start work next week there'll be heaps more funds coming through to play around with a logo and creating something special.

I have cut up some gorgeous brocade pul to make some nice wetbags. And my lotus zen range menstrual pads have been cut up and are now waiting to be sewn up.....just need my labels :)

I have also added a couple of changes to my nappy design...this is killing me - trying to make a OSFM is hard. I have made about 5 with some slight changes and will visit my cousin to see if it fits her girl ok first. They fit my boys pretty good with some room to grow in. I just need to know the minimum weight range.

I have also decided not to make a night nappy as such but to use the nappies I am making with an added extra night booster instead, this will make it a cheaper and quick drying option. Maybe even make some pockets.....the list is endless my mind is just reeling with ideas.

The beginning

For all who don't know me, my name is Katerina. I am currently a stay at home mum to 2 beautiful boys, Elias who is 22 months and George who is 8 months.
I have been using modern cloth nappies since Elias was about 2 months and have become soooo addicted to them....cannot stop looking and buying and sewing!!!

Hence the beginning of the Twinkle Lily journey - I have started making and selling cloth menstrual pads on ebay and so far have been a hit. I am confident that this will be a success as there aren't enough stores around for these and not enough is known about them. I love making them, I love using them and I love that others are loving them as well :)

Nappies - still trying to perfect my design. I am trying for a OSFM AIO (one size fits most all in one) nappy. The first ones were a complete disaster - even sent a really bad one to a lady who has her own store and is very well respected in the cloth community...I am so embarrassed by it.
Anyhow to begin with I will open up my store with just menstrual pads, breast pads and wet bags.
