Long day

Today was such a long day shopping all day with the boys and do you think I even bought myself something - no it was for my lil sis who is 15 wks pg. Her clothes are a bit tight right now so we tagged along for advice. The boys only got to nap in the car which I hate so were absolutely feral this evening.

So I decided after today tonight is my free play time, didn't sew one thing but got my embroidery machine out again for a nice little play. I am still only playing around until I get the hang of the different fabrics though so I only did Elias's name on some microfleece using solvy and cutaway......but damn I think I didn't pull the fabric taut enough and ended up with some looped stitches.

So tried some of the floral designs already provided by the machine onto some certified organic cotton scraps that I had and came out beautifully.

Just need some more practise though with downloading and copying over designs onto card.....it's so hard to understand the program sometimes.
